Energy Smart is a Texas based third party consulting firm specializing in home energy ratings, diagnostic testing, inspections and building science consultation.

An accredited ENERGY STAR^® provider, Energy Smart participates with homebuilders in many of the country’s green building programs such as Environments for Living, LEED for Homes, NAHB - National Green Building Program, and Builder Association’s Green Building Initiatives.

Energy Smart’s experience in the ENERGY STAR program has earned it the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Leadership in Housing Award in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

As a code certified energy plans examiner and inspector, Energy Smart also provides direct professional support providing needed documentation and required inspections to demonstrate homes meet local municipal permit requirements.
